Worm Behavior:
Worm Tracker 2.0 (WT2) Software
Worm Tracker 2.0 (Yemini et al, Nature Methods 2013) is a high-throughput hardware, software, and analysis pipeline for worm behavior. Using this software we created a database of nervous-system mutant phenotypes and wild-type controls. The database contains 300+ worm strains, represented by nearly 10,000 worms with 700+ phenotypic features/worm.
This phenotype database and its software were updated in 2018. The work was led by the lab of Professor Andre Brown and the OpenWorm Consortium (Javer A et al, Nature Methods 2018). Hardware, software, and analysis from the original 2013 publication can be found here, the original code is available on Github with updates from OpenWorm, and the worm phenotypes are also available in WormBase and from the Schafer Lab.
